Terms of Service

Welcome to Notable! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Notable - AI Note Taker mobile application (the "App") and related services (the "Services"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

3. User Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your device.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the account registration process and to update such information as necessary.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal and professional use, subject to your compliance with these Terms.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purposes.
  • Use the App to record conversations or meetings without the consent of all parties involved, in accordance with applicable law.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
  • Use the App in a way that disrupts or damages the App or Services, or any related systems or servers.
  • Engage in any activity that is abusive, harassing, or harmful to other users.

6. Recordings and Data Usage

  • By using the recording feature of the App, you acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to comply with local and national laws regarding recording, including obtaining consent from all parties involved.
  • You retain all rights to the recordings and transcripts you create. However, by using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and use your recordings and transcripts for the purpose of providing the Services.

7. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, without notice or liability to you.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Some features of the App are available through a subscription plan. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the pricing, payment, and renewal policies displayed in the App.
  • Payments are processed through the app store from which you downloaded the App. We are not responsible for any issues related to your payment provider or app store.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account or access to the App at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, arising from your use of or inability to use the App or Services.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Notable, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law
